I'm new to the sauna experience. I did use the gym sauna a couple of times to know what to expect (and compare if this would have the same results... spoiler, I like this WAY BETTER - easier to breath and love that it's my 'personal' sauna). Here are my key takeaways: 1. Start slow - you will hit a mental block - even if you can just handle a few minutes, it's making a difference. 2. Hydrate - before and after - amoung other things, your body is flushing out toxins (you can get a headache, etc if you aren't hydrated). 3. Set a consistent time - again this beautiful sauna blanket makes it SO much easier to do but I still needed to set time and keep that 'appointment' with myself. I highly recommend this practice.

I didn't really understand the towel insert (or why it's so expensive!) but I'm SO glad it was included. It is like a towel sleeping bag that goes inside. I'm in love with this sauna blanket. It's exactly what I expected. The instructions were easy to understand. It feels very sturdy and durable and stores nicely under my bed. I've used it a couple times since I got it and it gets HOT. I tried it on the highest setting and could only stay in for about 20 minutes. I tried it at about 165F for my next session and could stay in longer. Each time I use it I feel glowing and sleep so well. Thanks for making something beautiful!
